Brief Introduction
I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). I am also affiliated with Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer's Center (VMAC). My research focuses on developing novel statistical methods for assessing dementia risk in neurodegenerative diseases and related disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease.
Prior to joining VMAC, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Bioinformatics (DBEI) at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine (Penn Medicine) from August 2018 to August 2022. My mentor was Professor Sharon Xiangwen Xie.
From August 2016 to August 2018. , I was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Connecticut.
My other research interests include but are not limited to network models and applications to social science, random graphs, and structures, Bayesian analysis, randomized algorithms, scan statistics, combinatorial probabilities, and analytical techniques for the analysis of algorithms and data structure.
