Welcome to my portfolio for the Personalized Learning Endorsement at Kennesaw State University.
My name is Maddie Pannell, and I am currently the Latin teacher at Houston County Career Academy in Warner Robins, GA. I graduated from the University of Georgia with Bachelors degrees in Latin, Classical Culture, and World Language Education in 2017. I previously spent four years teaching in Gwinnett County. This school year is my first year in Houston County and my fifth year in the classroom. I am obtaining my Masters degree in Instructional Technology as well as this Personalized Learning Endorsement to improve my pedagogy in the classroom. In the future, I intend to become a technology coach/leader and intend on utilizing my knowledge and skills from this program and endorsement to assist other teachers with growing their professional practice.
This portfolio demonstrates my mastery of the ten GAPSC Standards for Personalized Learning. On the left side of this portfolio, there is a link to a page for each of these ten standards. On each page, I have written an overview of the standard with research-based support, and I have provided artifacts and reflections from my own implementation within my professional practice. Feel free to explore these pages to learn more about Personalized Learning!
