Pan Li has joined the Purdue CS department as an assistant professor since 2020 Fall. Before joining Purdue, Pan worked as a one-year postdoc at the CS department of Stanford. Pan did his Ph.D. in the ECE department at the University of Illinois Urbana - Champaign from 2015 to 2019. He also did several times of research internships at Google.

Pan Li has got several awards including JPMorgan Faculty Award and Ross-Lynn Faculty Award.

Pan Li worked as a PC member for many top-tier data science and machine learning conferences such as ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, KDD, WWW, WSDM, AAAI, AISTATS, etc.
