This Privacy Policy describes how the Panj Bania mobile application ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use it. Panj Bania is a devotional reading app that provides the text and audio of Sikh daily prayers (Nitnem). We are committed to respecting your privacy, especially given the personal and devotional nature of this App.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Panj Bania does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number in order to use the App. We do not collect or store the text of your prayers, reading history, or any personal identifiers on our own servers.

2. Information Collected Automatically (via Third-Party Services)

The App uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements, which helps keep the App free to use. Google AdMob may automatically collect certain information to serve and measure ads, which can include:

• Device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID)

• General device information (device model, operating system version, language, time zone)

• Approximate location (based on IP address, not precise GPS location)

• Ad interaction data (impressions, non-personal engagement with ads)

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy and Google's EU User Consent Policy. We do not have direct access to this data beyond aggregated, non-identifiable ad performance reports provided through the AdMob dashboard.

3. Children's Privacy

Panj Bania is a family-friendly, devotional reading app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where applicable, ad requests are configured in accordance with Google's child-directed treatment settings, and behavioral/interest-based ad targeting is disabled for users in relevant age categories. 4. Local Data Stored on Your Device

The App may store certain preferences locally on your own device only, such as:

• Your last-read page/Pauri position within a bani

• Your preferred text zoom level

• Your preferred theme (light/dark mode)

This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the App.

5. Permissions Used

The App may request the following device permissions:

• Internet access — required to load advertisements and, if applicable, stream audio recitations

The App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, storage, or any other sensitive device permission beyond what is listed above.

6. Third-Party Audio Content

Audio recitations included in the App, where used, are included with permission from their respective reciters or rights holders. These recordings are provided solely for devotional listening within the App and are not available for download, redistribution, or commercial reuse outside the App.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade any user information. The only data shared with a third party is the automatic ad-serving data described in Section 2, shared with Google AdMob for the sole purpose of displaying advertisements.

8. Your Choices

• You can reset your Android Advertising ID or opt out of interest-based advertising through your device's Google Settings at any time.

• You can uninstall the App at any time to remove all locally stored preferences.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
