Where is sorority recruitment?

Elmhurst University hosts sorority recruitment on campus! We use various buildings around the campus for each chapter.

What happens during each recruitment round?

During the rounds, the prospective member will have a chance to talk to members from the chapters. There are often short video presentations, introductions of a few chapter leaders, and time to get to know different members in the chapter!

On the first day, a prospective member will visit all 4 chapters on campus! After selections on Saturday, a prospective member will be able to visit up to 3 chapters again. On Sunday, during the Preference Round, a prospective member will be able to visit up to 2 chapters one final time.

What are the requirements for sorority recruitment?

Prospective members must be full time, degree-seeking students.

If I'm a transfer student, can I go through sorority recruitment?

Absolutely! We have many transfer students that go through Primary Recruitment and find their homes! Panhellenic chapters are open to full time students in any year of their college program.

If I was in a chapter before, can I join a different one?

If you were initiated into an NPC chapter, you are unable to join any other NPC chapter.

What if I can't attend every round?

Reach out to the VP of Recruitment or Panhellenic Advisor! Exceptions for rounds can be made, but let us know as soon as possible if you can't make it.

Why should I go through recruitment?

Recruitment is an amazing way to get to know the Panhellenic community and find your home! You'll meet so many amazing people and learn more about yourself and the Elmhurst community.
