News

  • Update (March 5th, 2026): I am looking for two Master’s students (Taiwanese or international) who are enthusiastic about Operations Research and programming to join my lab in Fall 2026. Starting from the second semester, you will receive a monthly stipend for six months (6000 NTD/month from my NSTC-funded project) if your academic performance in the first semester is satisfactory. Please send me an email if you are interested in further discussion.

  • Future master students in IEM Department, Yuan Ze University

If you are interested in collaborating with me on a research project for your thesis, you should have some coding experience—preferably in C++—and a basic understanding of mixed-integer programming models (as covered in the Operations Research course at the undergraduate level). If you meet these criteria, please feel free to send me an email to schedule an appointment for further discussion.

  • Future PhD students in IEM Department, Yuan Ze University

If you would like to collaborate with me on a research project, you should have a good background in coding—preferably in C++—along with experience in developing mixed-integer programming models and metaheuristics or exact algorithms. If you meet these criteria, please send me an email to arrange an appointment. If your master’s or bachelor’s thesis is not related to this topic, I may provide a challenge (e.g., implementing a metaheuristic to solve a specific optimization problem) to assess your readiness for the collaboration.

In addition, please familiarize yourself with this list of journals (link) before reaching out to me. Our target is to conduct research that can be published in journals categorized under "Production and Operations Management" or "Transportation Management" as provided in the list.
