What is a Writing Residency

This is suggested for school visits.  I will teach and talk about how the creative thinking skills to improve  writing as well as discussing my personal writer's journey using the AUTHOR acronynm. The lesson ends with my reading of part of my most current book.  

Classroom lessons are usually 40-55 minutes depending on grade Level.

 K-5  residencies are available.  There is no cost to the school of district for a residency but students must be offered purchase of my books prior to, during, and after my visit.  Books will be offered at a reduced rate.
