I am a lifelong Eastern Kentuckian, proud wife, mother, educator, and
community volunteer who believes leadership begins with listening and
service. I’m running to serve with honesty, empathy, and hard work because this is home, and people should always come first.
For 15 years, I’ve served children and families as a public school teacher, gaining firsthand understanding of the challenges facing rural communities. My students are my kiddos and I will fight for them and every child.
One of my proudest titles is President of Fostering Possibilities Boutique, a nonprofit located in my hometown, Grayson, serving foster and kinship-care children across seven different counties. FP provides them with brand-new clothing and essentials, always delivered with dignity, letting kids know they are not alone in a system that can be cruel.
