PAHCO (Pamir Afghan help Charitable Organization)
is one of non-governmental, non-profit and non-political organization and we started our activities in 2022. PAHCO is registered Organization number (5577) with Ministry of Economy the Islamic Government of Afghanistan.
Pamir Afghan help Charitable Organization (PAHCO) is a local NGO established by a local professional team of Afghans have enough experience committed to build the capacity of marginalized people or community to generate best health, durable social and economic benefits; PAHCO also assists nonprofit and for-profit organizations in building and maintaining strategic linkages between communities and associations.
PAHCO: is trying to improve raise the level of knowledge and improve the capacity of school teachers, women's economic empowerment, gender equality, humanitarian aid, helping widows and Homeless, help for Children, we also fight and advocate at the highest levels for children's rights and to ensure their voices are heard. We are helping children get a better education, we make it possible for more boys and girls to attend school, we help children protect themselves and influence their own conditions.
By 2030, we are working towards the goals of improving the way the world treats children, gender equality and humanitarian aid.
PAHCO works with a wide variety of communities and organizations across Afghanistan, in rural, refugees and urban areas to build their capacity with the believe and thinking of that development is important but it must be ecologically friendly, cost effective, grass root driven and should make use of appropriate technology. . Here are summary of some specific services PAHCO provides:
- Establishing of civil society organizations (for women and men) that can engage in community health and economic development and decision making activities.
- Vocational training including tailoring, embroidery, handicraft, agriculture and livestock. - Running vocational training periodically for women in center and provincial level.
- To develop the strategies for women to pay the way for marketing in the bazaar.
- To cooperate with development organization in the part of vocational training.
All Afghan people who will get training with PAHCO to have close working relations with the communities. They are responsible for the provision of programs such as education, rehabilitation, relief and voluntary repatriation of Afghan community.
PAHCO is successfully run by male and female trainers who are Afghans with high degrees in vocational training and curricula designing experience from Afghanistan, 8 years training experience with other training centers. Beside that they have received a great deal of in-service training and Vocational. Some of them attended courses in different countries of the world.
