The Philippine Association of Medical Technologists (PAMET) Cagayan Chapter took part in the 2024 Cagayan Valley Health Research and Development Consortium (CVHRDC) Annual Health Research Forum, held on December 12-13, 2024, at the NGN Grand Hotel, Tuguegarao City. The forum was spearheaded by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Regional Office No. 02 through the CVHRDC.

Representing PAMET Cagayan were its esteemed President, Ms. Michelle Bagapuro, and Dr. Julius T. Capili, a member of the PAMET Cagayan Advisory Council and Executive Director of CVHRDC. Their presence underscored the organization’s commitment to advancing health research and promoting collaboration among professionals in the field.

With the theme, “Reinforcing the Innovative Future of Healthcare: Building Initiatives on Equity in Health,” the event served as a dynamic platform for health researchers, experts, and advocates to exchange insights, explore innovative solutions, and forge partnerships aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery and knowledge in the Cagayan Valley region.

In a moment of distinction, PAMET Cagayan was honored with a plaque of recognition, received by Ms. Bagapuro. This accolade highlighted the chapter’s unwavering support for CVHRDC programs and activities, particularly its contributions in providing professional expertise, resources, and networks crucial to the consortium’s initiatives.
