The STEAM Supply Library was created for community members to have access to free STEAM materials and to inspire exploration into STEAM topics. All the supplies have been donated by local individuals through the Palouse STEAM Coalition's annual STEM Supply Drive. All materials are housed at the Colfax branch of the Whitman County Library.

This drive received five supply wish lists from local schools, libraries, and after school programs and received donations worth more than $2 ,000. All requesting institutions received at least one item from their wish list and three received everything they asked for and more.

Through the Science Rules! STEM Supply Drive, Whitman County Library District received various electronic sets, magnetic blocks, and Lego bricks. Beyond these specific donations the Whitman County Library is the host site for the Palouse STEM Library where excess donations will be held for community members who wish to do more STEM activities.
