# Privacy Policy — PalmPandit

This Privacy Policy describes how PalmPandit ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use the App. **By installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy, and that you use the App entirely at your own risk and responsibility.**
## 1. Information We Collect
**The App has no sign-up, login, or account system, and we do not ask for, collect, store, or sell any personal information.**
- The App does not require your name, email, phone number, address, or payment details.
- The App does not access your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or files.
However, to provide and improve the App, certain **non-personal technical data** is processed automatically by the third-party services described below.
### Firebase Analytics
To improve the App, we use **Google Firebase Analytics**, which collects **anonymous usage statistics** (such as screens viewed, session duration, app version, and general device/operating system information). This data cannot directly identify you. We do not sell it or share it for advertising purposes, and it is processed by Google under [Google's Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).
### Firebase Cloud Messaging (Push Notifications)
The App uses **Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)** to send you push notifications (such as announcements or feature updates). To deliver these notifications, FCM processes data such as a **device registration token**, an app instance identifier, your **notification permission status**, and general device information (model, OS version, and app version). The device token is used solely to deliver notifications to your device and is not used for any other purpose. If you prefer not to receive push notifications, you can disable them at any time in your device's app notification settings.
### Advertising
The App is free and ad-supported. Advertisements are served through **Google AdMob**. To deliver ads, Google may collect and process data such as your device's **advertising ID**, general device and app information, and approximate (coarse) location derived from your IP address. Google's use of this data is described in [Google's Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).
You can opt out of personalized advertising, and reset or delete your advertising ID, at any time in your device settings (e.g., Settings → Google → Ads → *Opt out of Ads Personalization*). Ads require an internet connection; the App remains fully usable offline without ads.
## 2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The App stores a small amount of non-personal data **only on your own device** using standard local storage (e.g., saved favourites, app settings, your daily-reminder preference, and the last time the App was opened so the local reminder can be scheduled). The App also uses your device's **local notification system** (with your permission) to show your daily reminder and other in-app notifications — these notifications are generated entirely on your device. This data:
- Never leaves your device and is never sent to us or any server.
- Can be erased completely at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing its data in your device settings.
**You are solely responsible for any data you choose to keep in the App.** We have no access to it and cannot recover it if lost.
## 3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each of which may process data as described in Section 1:
- **Google Play services** — to check for and deliver app updates.
- **Google Firebase Analytics** — anonymous usage statistics.
- **Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)** — delivery of push notifications.
- **Google AdMob** — display of advertisements.
Any data processed in these connections is handled by Google under [Google's Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy). We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, third-party services.
## 4. Nature of the Content — For Entertainment and Educational Purposes Only
PalmPandit provides information about palmistry (hasta samudrik shastra), which is a **traditional belief system, not a science**.
- All content is provided **for entertainment, cultural, and educational purposes only**.
- Nothing in the App constitutes medical, psychological, financial, legal, career, marital, or any other professional advice.
- Palm lines, mounts, signs, and remedies described in the App have **no scientifically proven effect** on health, wealth, relationships, or any outcome in your life.
- No content in the App predicts or guarantees any future event.
## 5. Your Responsibility
**By using the App, you accept full and complete responsibility for:**
- Every decision, action, belief, or conclusion you form based on any content in the App.
- Any health, financial, legal, relationship, career, or life choice you make — you must always consult a qualified professional, and never rely on the App.
- Verifying anything you read in the App before acting on it.
- Your own device, your use of the App, and any consequences arising from it.
- Ensuring your use of the App complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.
## 6. No Warranties
The App is provided **"AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", with no warranties of any kind**, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted/error-free operation. We do not warrant that the App will meet your expectations or that its content is correct in any way.
## 7. Limitation of Liability
**To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer, owner, or any person associated with RBX Apps be liable for any claim, damages, loss, injury, or liability of any kind** — whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive — **arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App or its content**, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
**You use the App at your own sole risk. The developer is not responsible for anything.**
## 8. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for supervising any minor's use of the App.
## 9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. **Continued use of the App after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.** It is your responsibility to review this page periodically.
