About our Home

Our home is located in Flagler County, just south of St. Augustine and just north of Daytona. We are a short walk from the beach, which is why we purchased it, and in an area of large moss draped oak trees that makes you feel like you are back in old Florida. We are one block off of A1A, (Alternate US HWY1) and within walking distance of two highly rated restaurants. The house was built in 2006 and we are the third owner. We didn't have to do much to it when we bought it as the prior owners took great care of it. We have added a coffee bar, fenced in the backyard, and plan on adding a deck to the backyard. If you haven't already, we hope that you will consider our home for your future vacation rental plans.

Guest Book - Our guest book is on the coffee table for our guests to share their experience and help others find great things to do and great places to eat.

Internet Access - We have WiFi high speed internet access available throughout our home. The network name (SSID) is MySpectrumWiFi17-2G and the WiFi password is provided before your arrival. The router is located in the TV stand cabinet in the living room if there is any need to reset it or plug in an ethernet cable.

Trash - Trash pickup is on Mondays and Thursdays, Recycling pickup is on Thursdays. Trash containers should be placed near the road in the area of the mailbox the night before and returned to the side of the house once emptied. There are raccoons in the area, so please make sure the lids are on tight.

Parking - We have ample parking on the driveway as well as space on the right side of the driveway for up to three vehicles. Please respect our neighbors and do not park on their property or the road.

Televisions - There are flatscreen smart TVs located in each bedroom and the living room. They are all ROKU based TVs with lots of apps for viewing television programing. We include Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, and numerous channels. They should all be signed in and ready to view. Please do not sign out of the apps.

DVD player - We have a blu-ray DVD player as well as a small collection of DVDs in the living room. To use the DVD player, you have to change the input on the TV.

Amazon Echo Dot (Alexa) - We have an Amazon Echo Dot located near the living room TV. You can asks Alexa to play music, provide the weather for Palm Coast, or a host of other things. For example, say: Alexa play Praise and Worship Music (or whatever genre you prefer). Some people are concerned about privacy with these devices, so you may feel free to unplug the power from the Echo device, but please plug it back in before checking out.

Coffee Bar - We have a great coffee bar with a Baratza Conical Burr Coffee Grinder, a Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker with Thermal Carafe, and a Breville 800ESXL 15-Bar Triple-Priming Die-Cast Espresso Machine. The Ninja is an automatic drip machine with a washable filter. Coffee cups are located in the drawers of the coffee bar. The manuals for all three of these are included in the back of this book. Please don’t take the cone shaped bean reservoir off the grinder - it is challenge to put back on. To adjust the bean grinder - press down and turn the cone shaped bean reservoir to 14 for drip maker and 21 for espresso machine.

Waffle Maker - we have a great Belgium Waffle maker under the counter of the coffee bar. We try to keep waffle mix in the freezer.

Gas Stove - Our gas stove has electric arc lighting. When using the stove, remember to use the ignition setting until the burner lights then move the dial to the desired flame height.

Dishwasher - We encourage the use of the dishwasher as it ensure that the dishes are clean and sanitary for you and other guests. We include dishwasher pods to make this easy for you. Please make sure you don’t put plastic items that can melt in the dishwasher.

Beds - Each of the beds have spare sheets & bed coverings located in a bag in the bedroom’s closet. Each of the beds and all the pillows have an encapsulating cover for sanitary reasons. Please don’t remove the encapsulating cover unless to wash and put back on before re-use.

Sleeper Sofa - The living room sofa is a full-size sleeper sofa. To use the sleeper sofa, you will need to pull the couch out away from the bookcase a bit and move the coffee table. A mattress pad, sheets, bed coverings, and pillows for the sleeper sofa are located in a bag in the master bedroom closet.

Washer & Dryer - We have full size washers and dryers in the garage for your use.

Septic Tank - Our sewage goes into a septic tank. Do not put cigarette butts, paper towels, sanitary tampons, condoms, disposable diapers, baby wipes or other wet wipes, anything plastic or similar non-biodegradables into our septic tank system. Avoid washing cooking grease or oil, food scraps, coffee grinds, and other food items down the drain. We provide septic tank compatible toilet tissue, which is the only thing that should be put in the toilet besides human waste.

Beach Chairs and Coolers - We have beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and coolers in the garage.

Basic Rules:

• We do not allow any smoking in the home or on the property (including vaping).

• The use of fireworks on the property are not permitted.

• Outdoor quiet hours are 10:00 PM till 8:00 AM

• Large parties, loud parties, excessive noise, or any disrespectful behaviors are not permitted.

• Pets are permitted in the home, but not on the furniture. Picking up after your pets is required.
