Ionic Radii Database

Tables of ionic radii such as the Shannon radii [1] are typically derived from metal-anion bond lengths in oxide or fluoride compounds. Use of such radii to estimate ion size in compounds with heavier halides, for example when designing halide perovskite materials, can give misleading results. We have produced revised, anion adjusted, ionic radii, calculated from experimental metal halide bond lengths.
