First released on McCartney and The Wings' 1973 seminal album, Band On The Run, this track is so odd on a first listen. The entire structure of this song seems a mystery until you let go and embrace that McCartney songwriting charm. Is it nonsensical and most likely mean nothing? Probably, yes. But JETTTTTTTTTT!

I listen to a lot of high energy pop so when I first heard this song and high energy beat and vocals you can scream at the top of your lungs, I was obsessed. But I've really come to appreciate the instrumentals too like that sick lead guitar riff (im pretty sure its just a scale but it scratches my brain in all the right ways)

First released in 1974, Junoir's Farm paints the picture of Paul McCartney and the Wings' stay in Tennessee that summer. Interestingly, this was Paul's final released under The Beatles' own record label Apple Records. With some very Paul-esque lead guitar and thumping bass line, these types of heavy-but-not-hard rock songs are a huge influence on my own song writing.
