I just had an ah ha moment! By painting the home all one color, I just simplified my life! My office is a soft peach color, the half bathroom is a sage green and the living room and dining room are a soft griege (husky gray by Benjamin Moore which I absolutely love). The office and half bathroom feels off and now I know why! I am getting my paint brush out today to start changing the color. Now my decorating ideas for the rooms have become very clear. Thanks you! Wow!

I just finished reading two of your articles. The first is decorating with warm and cool colors and how to pick a color palette. I enjoyed both of them. They are very easy to understand and informative. I have been trying to figure out this for a while now. Unfortunately I am not sure if I am on the right path. I have golden oak cabinets and golden oak fire place mantel with bricks that have dark gray, light gray, some brown, and burnt orange colors. I am not able to change these at this time. I also, have oak flooring and black iron stair railing. I chose SW Conservative gray paint color for living area, foyer, kitchen, hallways. I have a dark charcoal couch and 2 light gray chairs as well as a brown club chair. I love the paint color, but do not know which direction to go next or if I have totally gone in the wrong direction. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Generally, lighter colors create a sense of calm, while darker colors can add a sense of whimsy and personality. However, many people find bold colors to be overwhelming and too difficult of a canvas to work with for an entire home, so they opt for neutrals indoors.

We are headed back home today and I love that I left our home freshly decorated in a soft summer color palette. You probably saw the photos from our home on my blog this past week. I just love the soft light wood and aqua colors and summer feel that is all throughout our home.

I chose tan and aqua as my summer color palette because I wanted to bring a feel of the beach to our home. To me, these colors are relaxing, soothing, and exactly how I want our home to feel this summer!

Soft summer colors can be easily added to any home. Of course, it helps to start with a neutral palette. A few years ago I went neutral in almost every room in our home. I just love how it turned out and the bonus is that I can easily add color with accessories. We have neutral slipcovers in every room and in some cases (aka our living room), they are covering some upholstery that is very outdated.

Great question. Back in 2015, when I began creating part I, the Laurel Home Essential Paint Color Collection of 144 Beautiful Benjamin Moore colors , I knew that I also wanted to put the colors into palettes you could use. Besides not being able to see the product names, another downside of magnetic palettes is that they get messy. And yes, leaving my eyeshadows in their plastic inserts makes juts as big of a mess, but that mess is contained within its own home. The same is true for regular eyeshadow palettes. But in a larger magnetic palette, colors mix together as shadow fallout settles to the floor of the palette and then the only way of cleaning the palette is by removing all the products, which requires finger strength, or maybe just long nails.

Instead of removing the add-on, try to remove the nodes (hamburger menu at the top right of the screen > Manage pallete > scroll to node-red-contrib-home-assistant-websocket) and remove it. Then, restart the addon and try to readd it.
