Parks & Recreation
The Paleto Bay Township Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining over 130 acres of land dedicated to the recreational needs of our residents. The goal is to provide residents and visitors with safe, clean and well-maintained parks for outdoor recreation.

THE PALETO BAY FOREST AND ROXWOOD STATE PARK ARE THE PROPERTY OF THE STATE OF SAN ANDREAS AND IS GOVERNED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES. INQUIRE WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES REGARDING RULES AND REGULATION.
General Park Policies and Rules
Paleto Bay Township parks are open to the public during daylight hours only, on a daily basis from the spring to fall seasons. During the winter season, the entrance gates to the parks are locked, and while vehicles are prohibited, walk-in visits are allowed.
The following rules apply to all parks:
Fishing is permitted in park ponds.
Any alcohol or illicit drugs are prohibited.
Pets on a leash are welcome.
Swimming is not allowed aside from designated areas.
All visitors are expected to obey all posted rules.
