Soft Machines and Robotic Systems Group
"Intelligence through Design"
Welcome to the Soft Machines and Robotics Systems group! We are a group of researchers working on soft robotics, embodied physical intelligence, and mechanical metamaterials. Our research is interdisciplinary: at the intersection of mechanical engineering, materials science, and robotics.
We are part of the Institute for Applied Mechanics at the University of Stuttgart with affiliations to the Cluster of Excellence SimTech and the International Max Planck Research School for Intelligent Systems (IMPRS-IS).
We are actively recruiting MS students, PhD researchers, and postdoctoral researchers at my lab. Interested in what we do?
