To give the best possible experience to our public, we partnered with Lausanne Tourism, an association founded in 1887 and dedicated to welcoming visitors and travelers in this scenic city. ALPS conference will leverage their secular expertise to offer participants unique social opportunities during the conference, in some of the most renowned venues of Lausanne.
On Friday night for all participants, we will be showing the film "Descending the mountain" at 20:00 after the lectures. This film takes you on a journey of mystical revelations through magic mushrooms and meditations. Featuring the neuroscientist Franz X. Vollenweider (who is also giving a talk) and a zen master, who are carrying out a double-blind experiment on a sphinxlike mountain in Switzerland. Their goal: to examine the nature of consciousness. The Gala Night dedicaced to the speakers and a selected number of participants, will take place in the medieval building of “Vieux - Lausanne”, Restaurant on Friday night as well.
Ultimately, a networking apéro, will take place in the main conference hall of the Olympic Museum, planned for Saturday night and open for every ALPS participant.
