ADMISSION POLICY

Pak Grammar High School (PGHS) aim to provide quality education to each learner without any discrimination. The dates for registration/admission are announced first week in January every year. If you seek admission for your child in PGHS, this document help you as it includes all the necessary information for you.

ADMISSION OFFICE

Admission office handle all the matter regarding admissions.
Parents/Guardians can visit the admission office or fill in an online Admission Inquiry Form.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

Admission is based on merit, availability of seats and sibling reference.
Application forms are available in the school office.
Application forms should be filled and submitted in the Office.
Admission to Pre Nursery will be through Observation/ Interaction.
Observation / Interaction would be held in the presence of parents.
Date &Timing for Observation/Interaction will be intimated at the time of parents pre admission visit.
There will be written tests for students seeking admission from Class nursery to class nine.
Written test in core subjects viz English, Urdu, Mathematics as well as reading and comprehension level.
Admission process will be start after passing admission test
At the time of registration, the following documents are to be submitted to the admission office.
Copy of CNIC of parents/guardians
Copy of form-B or birth certificate
Mark sheet or school leaving certificate of previous school

AGE CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION

Pre Nursery

A child must be 3 years old by Ist March of the admission year.

Nursery

A child must be 3 -4 years old by Ist March of the admission year.

Class 1-4

A child must be above the age of 5 years but under the age of 6 years by Ist March of the admission year . For each successive class, a year is added to the age.

Class 5-8

A child must be 9-10 years on Ist March of the admission year. For each successive class, a year is added to the age.

Class 8-10

A child entering class nine must be aged 13 years by Ist march of the year of admission.

The school administration reserves the right to accept or reject the admission or enrollment application. The decision of the administration to accept or reject the student's application is final

HIFZ UL QURAN DEPARTMENT

Hifz ul Quran is our unique Department for boys. This is an optional program. The students after passing two class exam can opt for this stream. During the process of Hifz ul Quran students will also be able to touch with school education to maintain their interest in compulsory subjects, Urdu, English, Science and Mathematics
