The most impactful event of my life was being removed from my first family when very young, placed in foster care, and adopted. This happened with each of my siblings too. These events shaped our views of the world. This inspired the graphic memoir, Connecting Threads: Five Siblings Lost and Found. It's a story of loss, reunion, peace, sanctuary, resilience, and healing. I loved making the art that weaves a few threads of our lives into a slightly worn though colorful tapestry. Some of  our story was forgotten along the way. Thank you for coming along on our journey.
