Frequently Asked Questions

STUDIO LOCATION?  The studio is located at 301 Braebrook Way in Cary   The studio can be set up to create indoors or outdoors; weather permitting.

HOW DO I REGISTER?

For LABS,  WORKSHOPS, AND MEETS, follow the prompts to fill out registration forms and submit payment. Easy peasy! An invoice will be mailed to you within a day or two. Your child's spot in the class is secured once payment is received.

For tuition-based LABS and MEETS, fill out a registration form for the LAB you are interested in. You will hear back within a day or two if there is space available.  You will be added to the wait list if there is not currently space.  If there is room, you will be emailed an invoice. Once both the registration form is submitted and  the semester tuition is paid, registration is complete. Spots will not be reserved if payment is not completed.

WHAT DOES MY STUDENT NEED TO BRING?

Nothing but a can-do attitude! All supplies are provided.

BEHAVIOR POLICY

The number one rule at the studio is respect. Respect each other, the teacher, the materials, and the studio. If student behavior steps over the line, a phone call or email will be made to the family. Disruptive and disrespectful behavior effects the learning of other students. If more than one discussion needs to be had, disruptive students will be asked to discontinue classes at the family’s expense (no refunds). Students who exhibit behavior that poses a threat to other students, the studio, or the teacher will be asked to leave immediately.

HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENT FOR LABS?

For your payment, you will be emailed an invoice that is payable by digital payment for the 4-month semester.  Registration will be complete after payment.   Students enrolled in LABS are automatically given a  20% reduction of regular class pricing for the bundled LAB.

CAN I DROP MY CHILD OFF EARLY OR PICK UP LATE?

There is a 5 minute "grace" period before and after class times. This window allows plenty of time for students to come in and get situated before class or for clean up after class. Please note the start and end times for classes, and avoid early drop off and late pick up without prior permission. Things happen, and exceptions can be made on occasion. If there is an ongoing early/late problem, you will be billed $1 per minute outside of the grace period window.

CAN MY STUDENT COME LATE OR LEAVE EARLY?

Paint and Pages classes are structured with guided lessons as well as work time. If a student arrives late or leaves early for a class, they may have trouble catching up or finishing that day's project. This can be distressing to most students and disruptive to the class. Please try to minimize late arrivals and early departures when possible.

CAN I MEET THE INSTRUCTOR AND VISIT THE STUDIO BEFORE REGISTERING?

Absolutely! Just make an appointment as the studio is at a private residence. Appointments can be made on teaching days before or after class time. No weekend appointments.

CAN I STAY TO WATCH?

For the comfort of all of the students, and because of space limitations, all classes are drop off only. When parents linger, many students, including those that aren't yours, become self conscious. If your child does not do well in a drop-off setting, it may be best to wait to start classes until they are older. If your child requires an assistant for special needs, please discuss in advance of registration.

WHAT ARE THE CLASS SIZES?

Classes online range from 4 to 10 kids.  There is no minimum. LAB classes           accommodate 3 to 6 students. WORKSHOPS have 3  to 8 students.
