I’m Heather Livingston, an abstract acrylic artist who loves creating with color—and helping others discover that they can create beautiful artwork too.

I began painting full time in 2017 and started teaching acrylic paint-pouring classes in 2018. I create primarily with acrylic paint on canvas, glass, metal, furniture and just about anything else paint will stick to!

Before becoming a full-time artist, I worked in social services with adults and children with disabilities and as an American Sign Language interpreter. Those experiences helped shape my patience, creativity and love of encouraging others.

My passion for painting eventually filled nearly every wall in my home. When I ran out of places to hang my artwork—but still wanted to paint—I decided to begin teaching classes. I quickly discovered how much I enjoyed watching people who believed they weren’t artistic create something beautiful and uniquely their own.

That’s the magic of abstract art: there are no rigid rules, and every painting turns out differently. My classes are relaxed, beginner-friendly and taught with personal, step-by-step guidance. No paintbrushes, previous experience or artistic talent are required!

Private classes and Paint & Sip parties are available by appointment. All materials are provided, including an 11” × 14” canvas.
