Before I started bookkeeping, I worked at E*TRADE under Morgan Stanley, where I got my start in the financial world. That experience sparked my passion for helping people manage money wisely. After taking a year to travel and meet professionals from all walks of life, I kept hearing the same thing over and over again: nothing in life is certain—except death and taxes. That stuck with me.

When I returned, I joined a tax office, where I worked behind the scenes doing data entry, reconciling bank records, and categorizing transactions for tax preparers. That’s where I discovered my love for bookkeeping. I saw how often small business owners fell behind—not because they didn’t care, but because they had so much on their plate.
