Hey everyone! My name is Ryan Kim and I am a rising 12th grader attending Palo Alto High School! I am a member of Paly Robotics; and love to run, code, and spend time with my friends.
So you may be asking, why should I trust this funny looking kid to lead a strong Zero Robotics team for my kid? Not only do I love teaching younger kids, I also have experience with the Zero Robotics Program. First, as a rising 9th grader, I had the opportunity to participate in the program through an experienced veteran team. At this team, not only was my code chosen to represent the team, my code made it all the way to the semi-finals. Additionally, in the 2022 I created and led the first Zero Robotics middle school team in Palo Alto. Despite being a rookie team, with the hard work of our students we were able to win the whole competition! In 2023, our team got second place in the competition. I believe that through my enthusiasm for teaching combined with your child's enthusiasm to tackle challenging problems, we can create a memorable summer for your kid! I hope to meet your kids this summer!

Hello there. I’m Yul Sung, a soon to be Junior at Valley Christian Schools and camp counselor for Zero Robotics this summer. As a former member of the program two years ago and camp counselor last year, I worked with the team to come up with the best strategy and write the code for it. Even though none of us had never coded in the language for the competition, we were still able to sweep both rounds. During the program, I was able to learn more about programming and working in a team. I'm excited to return to Zero Robotics as a counselor, and hopefully win!
