What types of things can I sell at Pages of the Pines?
All books, novellas, printed works, and associated products created by the author/illustrator. These works may be traditionally published or self-published.
Is the festival indoors or outdoors?
Both! We will have spaces in the library and on the campus. We do our best to make sure that everyone has shelter or shade outside but cannot guarantee it.
What does the $20 entry fee get me?
First, your money goes towards supporting the Friends of the Library who make all of our programs possible. In fact, members of the Friends can get a table for free! Tap here to join the Friends.
Second, the fee helps the Library pay for things like small gift bags for the authors, table and equipment rental, and printing costs. Thank you for your support!
How do you define "local authors"?
We are not strict about our definition of local. Priority is given to residents of Moore County, but we have also had authors from all around North Carolina. If you have local ties and are willing to come to Southern Pines for this event, we're happy to have you.
I've missed the deadline to apply to be a vendor. Is it too late?
Due to the volume of applications we receive, it is not feasible to have a waitlist for a table space at the festival. Please make sure to fill out the interest form to to stay aware of deadlines for future festivals.
