Effective date: October 25, 2026. This policy applies to Smart Link Grabber versions 0.1.0 through 0.1.4, published under the display name PageNest Studio.
Smart Link Grabber helps you extract, classify, clean, filter and export links from the webpage you choose. Page content is processed locally in your browser. This version does not require an account or payment and does not include cloud synchronization, advertising or a remote analytics SDK.
When you invoke the extension, it reads loaded links, image addresses and associated text from the main page document. It also uses the requested page URL, title and extraction time to identify the source of your results. Email and telephone links may contain personal information; they are handled only as part of the links you request to extract.
The extension does not request access to your general browsing history, cookies or passwords. It does not scan embedded frames, shadow roots or unloaded page content, and it does not automatically visit extracted links. It does not read other tabs on its own: a page joins a combined list only after you open it, click the toolbar icon and choose Add page to list.
The extension does not send webpage content, extracted URLs, email or telephone links, or local usage counts to PageNest Studio or third-party services.
Extraction snapshots are held in Chrome's in-memory extension session storage. If you use Add page to list, each page you add is kept there as well so the pages can be combined and exported together; the list holds up to 20 pages, replaces a page you add again, and you can remove one page or clear the list at any time. They can be replaced or removed as memory limits require and do not survive browser restart or extension reload. You can remove the current results and the list using Clear results.
Cleanup preferences, your interface language and theme choices, and optional local usage counts are kept in Chrome's local extension storage. Local counts contain event totals, fixed error codes and link-count ranges for up to 35 UTC calendar days. They do not contain page URLs, domains, titles, extracted link content or search terms.
Local usage counts are enabled by default and clearly labeled as device-only. You can disable counting, clear counts or export a usage summary in the extension settings. The extension does not automatically transmit exported summaries.
When you choose Copy or download TXT, CSV or JSON, the selected results are copied to your clipboard or downloaded through your browser. Exported files remain under your control. Clearing extension results does not delete files you have already saved; you can delete them yourself.
activeTab: temporary access to the current webpage after you click the extension toolbar icon.
scripting: run the packaged link collector on the authorized page when requested.
storage: keep preferences, in-memory session results and device-only aggregate counters.
sidePanel: display the extension interface beside the webpage.
The extension does not request broad persistent access to all websites. Visiting a different site may require clicking the toolbar icon again to grant temporary access.
PageNest Studio uses information obtained through Chrome APIs only to provide the extension's stated link extraction and export purpose, in compliance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements. It does not sell user data, use it for unrelated purposes, or use it for credit or lending decisions.
Chrome Web Store may independently provide store listing and installation reports under Google's policies. Those reports do not include the extension's locally extracted content.
If you visit this policy webpage, its hosting provider may process standard connection information under its own policies. PageNest Studio adds no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts to this policy page. The extension does not upload extraction data to this page.
If future versions introduce different data handling, this policy and the store disclosures will be updated to describe those changes. The effective date above identifies this policy version.
To contact PageNest Studio, use the developer contact email displayed on the Smart Link Grabber Chrome Web Store listing. Please do not include private browsing data in support requests. You choose what to share if you voluntarily send a support request or an exported usage summary.
