Last updated: 14 June 2026
Page Jumper is designed to provide webpage navigation features without collecting or transmitting personal information.
## Information Stored Locally
Page Jumper stores the following information in the browser's extension storage:
- Appearance preferences, including the chosen side, vertical position, size, opacity, accent colour, and auto-hide setting.
- Saved page positions, including a user-created marker name, the associated website origin and page path, numerical scroll position, and page percentage.
This information is stored locally in the user's browser profile. Page Jumper does not transmit it to the developer or to any third party.
## Information Collection and Sharing
Page Jumper:
- Does not use analytics or tracking.
- Does not display advertising.
- Does not create user accounts.
- Does not transmit browsing activity.
- Does not sell, rent, or share user information.
- Does not use remote servers.
- Does not execute remotely hosted code.
## Website Access
Page Jumper runs on webpages so it can display its navigation control, measure the current page's scroll position, identify visible headings, move the page when requested, and save positions chosen by the user.
Page content is processed locally inside the browser and is not transmitted by the extension.
## Data Retention and Removal
Locally stored preferences and saved positions normally remain available after the browser or computer is restarted.
Users can remove this information by uninstalling Page Jumper or clearing the extension's stored data through their browser. Data may also be removed when a browser profile is deleted or reset.
Page Jumper does not currently synchronise information between devices or browser profiles.
## Changes to This Policy
If Page Jumper's data practices change, this policy and the Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated before those changes are released.
