Page Lock ("the app") is an Android app published by Monkey See Monkey Does ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: the app collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere.
Nothing. Page Lock has no accounts, no sign-up, no login, and no servers of our own. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.
The app saves a small number of settings on your device only, such as whether you chose Auto or Manual mode. These settings live in the app's private storage on your phone, never leave the device, and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third party SDKs other than Google Play Billing.
Phone (READ_PHONE_STATE). To know that a call is ringing, so the phone can be locked. The app reads only the call state, meaning ringing, active, or idle. It does not read, store, or transmit phone numbers, contact names, call logs, or call content. It never records audio.
Device admin. To lock the screen. The app uses one single device admin capability, lockNow(), which sends the phone to its own normal lockscreen. It cannot and does not wipe your device, reset your password, read your data, restrict your apps, or enforce any other policy. You can remove device admin at any time in Android Settings.
Display over other apps (optional). Only for the floating lock button in Manual mode, shown during a call. If you do not use Manual mode you do not need to grant this.
Billing. Standard Google Play Billing permission for the subscription.
The app does not request internet access for its own purposes, does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, or notification permissions, and does not start itself at boot.
Page Lock is sold as a subscription. All payments are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see, receive, or store your card number, billing address, or any payment details. Your purchase and your free trial are managed by Google under Google's own terms and privacy policy.
Google may process data related to your purchase. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export, or delete. To remove the local settings the app stores on your phone, uninstall the app or clear its data in Android Settings. To cancel a subscription, use Google Play subscriptions.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page and publish the new version at this URL. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
