Experiencing Empowerment Technologies in my 1st semester was truly a great opener for what's to come. ICT was a subject I once took for granted, I thought it was just about the basics of technology and that just understanding computers would be enough to pass. But I was proven wrong. Every activities that came my way proved to be a challenge, I had to learn the intricacies and complexities of technology just to pass by. My creativity was tested, and my memory exhausted.
I never knew what to expect from this subject. When I thought it'll be about Microsoft apps, we tackled multimedia. Just when I thought that's all it'll be, we the moved on to cybercrime and eventually real-world events. And even then, it still came as a shock to me when I learned that this serves as the predecessor or foundation for Practical Research 1. But it makes sense retroactively, it wasn't just teaching us about technology, it was molding us to be innovators—to be pioneers.
