Effective date: 15 August 2026
Padel King (“the app”) is a padel scoring and scheduling app for iPhone. This policy explains what data the app uses, where it stays, and how to reach us.
Contact: johnhalley1994@gmail.com
Padel King does not require an account. It does not include ads, analytics, or tracking. We do not operate a server that receives your tournament data. Player names, photos, scores, and schedules stay on your device unless you choose to share a results image yourself.
This policy is for people who download and use Padel King from the Apple App Store.
If you add names or photos of teammates, clubmates, or other players, you are responsible for having a fair reason to store that information on your phone.
We (the developer of Padel King) do not collect, sell, or share:
names, email addresses, or phone numbers for an account
location
contacts
analytics, crash reports, or advertising identifiers
usage tracking across other companies’ apps or websites
The app does not use tracking. We do not use the App Tracking Transparency prompt because we do not track you.
Padel King stores data locally on your iPhone so the app can run a night of padel. This can include:
player names, emoji, colours, and optional photos
skill ratings you set or that the app updates after matches
tournament names, formats, courts, fixtures, scores, and results
whether you have completed onboarding
This data is stored with Apple’s on-device storage (SwiftData). It is not uploaded to us.
You can delete a player or a past night inside the app. Uninstalling Padel King deletes the app’s local data from that device.
If iCloud Backup is turned on for your iPhone, Apple may include the app’s local data in your device backup. That backup is controlled by Apple and your Apple ID, not by us. We do not use iCloud to sync your tournaments between devices.
You can optionally set a player avatar from the camera or your photo library. The app only uses a photo you choose, and it stores that image on your device as part of the player profile.
iOS will ask for camera permission before the camera opens. You can refuse. The app still works with emoji avatars.
We do not upload photos to our own servers.
Padel King is free to download. Full access is unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase through the App Store.
Payment, receipt, restore-purchase, and refund handling are provided by Apple. We do not see your full Apple ID, card details, or billing address. Apple’s privacy policy applies to that checkout: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
On your device, the app only needs to know whether the lifetime unlock has been purchased, so it can remove the paywall.
After a night you can share a results image using iOS share sheet (Messages, Mail, Photos, and so on). That share is started by you. We do not receive a copy.
The only third party involved in providing the app is Apple (App Store, in-app purchase, and optional iPhone backup).
We do not embed advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or social-login SDKs.
Padel King is a sports scoring tool. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
On your device: until you delete the player, tournament, or the app.
Emails you send us: only as long as needed to reply and, if relevant, to keep a record of the request.
We do not hold a copy of your on-device tournament data.
You can:
use the app without a camera or photo library
delete players and tournaments in the app
restore a purchase with the same Apple ID
uninstall the app
email us at johnhalley1994@gmail.com
Depending on where you live (including the UK and EU), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. For Padel King, that is typically limited to emails you send us, because tournament data does not leave your device.
If you email us, please do not send photos of other people or extra personal details we do not need.
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date on this page. If a change is material, we will note it in the App Store “What’s New” text where practical.
