On June 5, 2007, the first Pac-Man World Championship was held in New York City, which brought together ten competitors from eight countries to play the new Pac-Man Championship Edition just prior to its release on Xbox Live Arcade. I love the Pac-man championship edition games, and I recently realized that I have not played the original one, released in 2007 by Namco Bandai and designed by Tru Iwatani, the creator of the original Pac-Man arcade game.

After that they released two sequels, "Pac-man championship edition DX" (2010) and "Pac-man championship edition 2" (2016).
