This Privacy Policy explains how PackVid handles user data. PackVid is a video utility app that helps users compress videos, convert video to MP3, create GIFs, cut videos, save viewed WhatsApp statuses, and create Remix Reel videos.

Information We Access
PackVid may access files that you choose from your device, such as videos, audio files, images, and viewed WhatsApp status files. This access is used only to provide the app features that you request.
Examples include:
Compressing a selected video
Converting a selected video to MP3
Creating a GIF from a selected video
Cutting or trimming a selected video
Saving selected viewed WhatsApp statuses
Creating a Remix Reel video from a selected video
PackVid does not upload your selected media files to our own server. Processing is designed to happen on your device.
Permissions Used
PackVid may request Android permissions such as media/video/audio access and storage access where required by your Android version. These permissions are used to let you choose files and save exported results to your device.
PackVid also uses internet access because the app includes ads, Google Play Billing for Premium, in-app review features, and an internet connection screen.
Advertising
PackVid uses Google AdMob to show advertisements. AdMob and Google may collect or process information such as device identifiers, advertising ID, app activity, approximate location, diagnostics, and ad interaction data for advertising, fraud prevention, analytics, and performance reporting.
Users can control advertising ID and ad personalisation settings through their device or Google settings.
Purchases and Subscriptions
PackVid uses Google Play Billing for Premium subscriptions. Purchase and subscription processing is handled by Google Play. PackVid may receive limited purchase status information from Google Play to unlock Premium benefits inside the app.
PackVid does not collect or store payment card details. Payment information is handled by Google Play.
In-App Review
PackVid may use Google Play’s in-app review feature to ask users for a review. The review process is handled by Google Play.
Data Sharing
PackVid does not sell personal data.
Data may be processed by third-party services used in the app, including:
Google AdMob for ads
Google Play Billing for subscriptions
Google Play services for in-app review and app functionality
These services process data according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Local Files and Saved Output
Files selected by the user remain on the user’s device. Exported files may be saved to device folders such as Movies, Music, Pictures, or Gallery, depending on the feature used.
Users can delete exported files manually from their device at any time.
Data Retention
PackVid does not create user accounts and does not store selected media files on our own server.
Some app settings, such as selected language, Premium status, or app preferences, may be stored locally on the device. Users can remove this data by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.
Google and third-party services may retain data according to their own policies.
Children’s Privacy
PackVid is not directed to children. The app is intended for a general audience. If you believe a child has provided personal data through a third-party service used in the app, please contact us.
Security
PackVid is designed to process user-selected media locally on the device. We use Google Play services and Android platform tools to support app functionality. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
