A legacy project seeks to impart something as a soul prepares to leave its body. This legacy project creates a powerful way to honor the past while building pathways of hope and support for others facing challenging circumstances. The Packs with Purpose legacy project calls you to service in several ways, all of which will support Seva Circle's humanitarian work, uniquely packaged within a community and personal legacy project.
Meet Chrystal
Meet Chrystal
Chrystal is excited to share the path with you and grateful to volunteer with Seva Circle for this project of a lifetime! As a survivor of domestic violence, Chrystal became motivated to continue the cycle of support through acts of service and ongoing healing to help break the cycles of abuse.
The desire to serve and connect with her soul's purpose was further ignited upon learning of her cancer diagnosis. Chrystal was first diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy and chemo in 2022 and then chemo and radiation in 2023. Chrystal's cancer remained undetectable for about a year until it returned terminal and metastatic in autumn 2024. Knowing the impact she and those around her could make together, she made this her aim as part of her own personal legacy project.
It is Chrystal's wish to see as many people engaged in this kind of action together and that any support for her be channeled to take action with us as part of this Packs with Purpose legacy project!

This is why the Packs with Purpose Legacy Project is perfect to amplify the impact and help bring awareness to service and the joy it can bring to our paths.
Seva Circle meets regularly for other packs related projects. They bring a wealth of experience alongside a successful track record in collaborating with other organizations, that made it a no-brainer when it came to finding a place where a legacy project made sense but most importantly, activated people to serve and support survivors with dignity and respect.

The Packs with Purpose legacy project transforms the final chapter of one meaningful life into the beginning of new chapters in countless others. The packs are the lifeblood of support that this Packs with Purpose legacy project aims to realize with the help of motivated folks like you. This legacy project will serve as a branch focused on communities right in Chrystal's Colorado backyard, anchored by the roots that have grown from the strong veins of Seva Circle's humanitarian mission. Together, let's see how far we can help these branches grow!
The average cost of a pack is outlined below, along with the typical items that will be put into each pack. The final packs are built and decided upon by the volunteer team and Seva Circle's collaborating organizations. These organizations are nonprofits and NGOs in Colorado, across the United States, and beyond. Amplifying these efforts, but from the perspective of activating community members to service, is what this legacy project is all about.

Average Nourish Pack $75
Includes meals and snacks for evenings and weekends for a small family. These are the times when survivors struggle most with making ends meet.
Hygiene Pack
Hygiene Pack
Average Hygiene Pack $100
Includes personal care items to refresh and pamper the spirit with soaps, lotions, and all the starters you need for grooming and personal care product needs.
Nursery Pack
Nursery Pack
Average Nursery Pack $150
Includes items needed for a comfy baby or toddler, from the diaper, bottle, formula, and the little items in between to help them get some rest and relaxation, too.
All of the packs include items specific to the needs of the collaborating organization, which will be determined closer to the time the packs are created.
You can select which pack you want your donation designated to, or select a custom amount that will be put towards the packs identified as the greatest need.
All of the packs are designed with care and thoughtful consideration of those receiving them.
