Packs for Pawtucket is an initiative that I created with the intention to deliver backpacks to students in need, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. My goal is to make sure as many kids as possible have the supplies they need to be prepared, and successful for this upcoming school year.

My name is Adria, and I am a 10th grade student in Rhode Island. One night I happened to be watching the news, and heard that a little less than 30% of parents in Rhode Island were afraid they were not going to be able to afford school supplies for their kids because of the pandemic. I immediately knew I needed to help. I did a little research and found out that many students, not even because of the pandemic don't have needed school supplies every year. I got onto my computer, thought of a name, made a website, and well here we are! I really appreciate you for taking the time to read this, and let's start helping some kids get necessary school supplies they need!!
