This privacy policy explains how the PackDial app for Android ("the app") handles information. The app is published under the developer name Runwith.

Summary
The app does not require an account. It has no analytics and sends nothing to our servers. It talks to your battery over Bluetooth, and it only reads data; it never changes battery settings. From version 0.1.3, the app shows one small ad, and to show it the Google Mobile Ads SDK communicates with Google over the internet (see "Ads"). Versions 0.1.0 to 0.1.2 have no ads and do not use the internet.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or files. We do not use analytics tools, and the app does not send any information to our servers. The only information that leaves your phone is what the Google Mobile Ads SDK sends to Google to show ads (see "Ads").
Information stored only on your device
To let you reconnect quickly, the app stores a list of the batteries you have opened. For each battery, the list contains:
・its Bluetooth device address
・its name
・the date and time you last used it
This list is stored only on your device. It is never sent to us, and it is not used for ads.
How the app uses Bluetooth
When you tap "Scan for batteries", the app looks for nearby Bluetooth devices for a few seconds and shows the ones that look like batteries. The app does not use Bluetooth to find your location, and the scan results stay on your device.
When you open a battery, the app connects to it and sends read requests published for this kind of battery management system. The battery's answers (voltage, current, cell voltages, temperatures and similar values) are shown on your screen. They are not sent anywhere, and they are not used for ads.
Ads (version 0.1.3 and later)
The app shows one small banner ad at the bottom of the screen. The ads are provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google. To choose and show ads, to measure them and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK inside the app sends the following information directly to Google:
・your device's advertising ID and app set ID
・your IP address (which can indicate your approximate location)
・information about your device and the app, such as the phone model, Android version, language and app version
・how you interact with ads (for example, that an ad was shown or tapped)
・diagnostic information, such as crash and performance data
This information is sent encrypted. We do not receive it in a form that identifies you. Google handles it under Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy . How Google uses information from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Your choices
・In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland (and in other places where the law requires it), the app shows Google's consent form before any ad is loaded. If you do not agree to personalised ads, Google may still show non-personalised or limited ads, which use the information above only for purposes such as showing the ad, counting it and preventing fraud.
・Where the consent form applies, you can change your choice at any time with "Ad privacy choices" at the bottom of the app's first screen (the list of batteries).
・You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads).
Permissions
・Nearby devices (Bluetooth scan and connect, Android 12 and later): to find and read your battery.
・Location (Android 11 and earlier only): older Android versions require this permission for any Bluetooth scan. The app does not read or store your location.
・Internet and network state: to load the ad.
・Advertising ID and Android's ad services: used by the Google Mobile Ads SDK to show and measure ads.
If you email us
If you email us at support@runwith-ai.com, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you and to improve the app, and we do not share it with anyone.
Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. The information listed under "Ads" is sent directly from your phone to Google, which provides the ads. We do not share any other information.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads in the app are limited to Google's "PG" content rating or below.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information, we will update this policy before the change and show a new effective date.

概要
本アプリは、アカウントの登録が不要です。アクセス解析は使っておらず、当社のサーバーには何も送りません。電池とはブルートゥースでつなぎ、情報を読むだけで、電池の設定は一切変えません。版 0.1.3 からは、小さな広告を1つ表示します。広告を表示するために、グーグルの広告の仕組みがインターネットでグーグルと通信します（「広告」の節）。版 0.1.0 から 0.1.2 には広告がなく、インターネットにもつなぎません。
集めない情報
お名前、メールアドレス、連絡先、写真、ファイルなどは集めません。アクセス解析の仕組みは使っておらず、当社のサーバーには何も送りません。スマホの外へ出る情報は、広告を表示するためにグーグルの広告の仕組みがグーグルへ送るものだけです（「広告」の節）。
端末の中にだけ保存する情報
すぐにつなぎ直せるよう、開いた電池の一覧を保存します。1台ごとに次の情報を保存します。
・ブルートゥースの機器の番号（アドレス）
・電池の名前
・最後に使った日時
この一覧はお客様の端末の中にだけ保存し、当社に送ることはありません。広告にも使いません。
ブルートゥースの使い方
「電池を探す」を押すと、数秒間、近くのブルートゥース機器を探し、電池らしいものを表示します。ブルートゥースを使ってお客様の位置を調べることはなく、探した結果は端末の中にだけ残ります。
電池を開くと、本アプリは電池につなぎ、この種類の電池の見張り装置向けに公開されている「読み取りの命令」を送ります。電池から返ってきた値（電圧・電流・セルの電圧・温度など）は画面に表示するだけで、どこにも送らず、広告にも使いません。
広告（版 0.1.3 から）
本アプリは、画面の一番下に小さな広告（バナー）を1つ表示します。広告は、グーグルの「Google AdMob」が配信します。広告を選んで表示し、表示の回数を数え、不正を防ぐために、本アプリに組み込んだグーグルの広告の仕組み（Google Mobile Ads SDK）が、次の情報をグーグルへ直接送ります。
・端末の広告ID と アプリセットID
・IPアドレス（おおよその地域がわかることがあります）
・端末とアプリの情報（機種、アンドロイドの版、言語、アプリの版など）
・広告の表示や、広告を押したかどうか
・不具合や動作の情報（アプリが止まったときの記録など）
これらは暗号化して送られます。当社が、お客様を特定できる形で受け取ることはありません。グーグルは、グーグルのプライバシーポリシー（https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=ja ）に沿って扱います。グーグルが提携アプリの情報をどう使うかは https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites?hl=ja をご覧ください。
お客様が選べること
・ヨーロッパ経済領域、イギリス、スイス（そのほか法律で必要な地域）では、広告を読み込む前に、グーグルの同意の画面を表示します。お客様に合わせた広告に同意されない場合でも、グーグルが、お客様に合わせない広告（または制限した広告）を表示することがあります。その場合、上の情報は、広告の表示・回数の計測・不正の防止などにだけ使われます。
・同意の画面が出る地域では、最初の画面（電池の一覧）の一番下にある「広告のプライバシー設定」から、いつでも選び直せます。
・広告IDは、スマホの設定（設定 ＞ プライバシー ＞ 広告）で、作り直したり削除したりできます。
使う権限
・付近のデバイス（ブルートゥースの検索と接続。アンドロイド12以降）：電池を探して読むため
・位置情報（アンドロイド11以前のみ）：古いアンドロイドでは、ブルートゥースで機器を探すのにこの権限が必要なためです。本アプリが位置情報を読んだり保存したりすることはありません。
・インターネットとネットワークの状態：広告を読み込むため
・広告IDと、アンドロイドの広告の仕組み：グーグルの広告の仕組みが、広告を表示して回数を数えるため
メールでご連絡いただいた場合
support@runwith-ai.com へメールを送っていただいた場合、当社はそのメールアドレスと本文を受け取ります。返信とアプリの改善のためにだけ使い、ほかの人や会社には渡しません。
情報の提供
当社が個人情報を売ることはありません。「広告」に書いた情報は、スマホから、広告を配信するグーグルへ直接送られます。そのほかの情報をほかの会社へ渡すことはありません。
お子さまの情報
本アプリは13歳未満のお子さま向けではありません。お子さまの個人情報を、知りながら集めることはありません。アプリの広告は、グーグルの区分で「PG」までの内容に限っています。
この説明の変更
情報の扱いを変えるときは、変える前にこの説明を更新し、新しい施行日を記載します。
