Four items for you today:
1) DEN MEETING - Our next den meeting is tonight (Thursday 10/9) at 7:00pm at Trinity. Agenda and meeting information is posted on the "Agendas and Notes" page under Meetings. We will be covering the Modular Design adventure
2) HOMEWORK - The 2 homework assignments from the 9/25 meeting are due. Please help ensure the assignments are completed on time. Please bring the completed medical form so I can review it, and then just let me know when your scout has completed the 10 minutes of relaxation activity.
3) BAND APP - Going forward, communications will only be on the Band app. I will try to keep the website up to date for reference, but all messages and communications will go through the Band app.
3) AOL CAMPING OUTING - Our Arrow of Light den is inviting us on a 2 night camping outing Oct 17-19 at Newton Hill State Park near Canton. Please contact the AOL Den Leader, Jake, for more information. I will post Jake's contact information in the Band app.

Four items for you today:

3) MISSED MEETING / MAKE UP - Life gets busy and I understand if you are unable to make a meeting or outing. If you are unable to make it to a meeting, you will be responsible for checking with me as to how to make it up. I include an agenda for each meeting along with a link to the official Scouting America page for the adventure, which includes the requirements and examples of how to complete each one. I have also included links to all of the required adventures on our Links page.
4) POPCORN - Friday is the first official day of Popcorn Sales! Here is some information about Popcorn Pickup starter kit! Lane Bartels is your Popcorn Kernel. His phone number is 605-261-0510. He is available by Text or Phone. Please add your name if you are texting him.

First Pickup Time:
Thursday, September 25th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Second Pickup Time:
Friday, September 26th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
If these times do not work for you, please text or call Lane and we will arrange a time.
If you are doing a store front, please reach out to Lane to schedule the pickup of the store inventory. It will include the Banner, Tablecloth, Table and Popcorn. If for example you are the person starting the shift one will do the pickup of material, and then the closing scout will be responsible to return these items to the Popcorn Kernel.

Welcome back -- and welcome to the Webelos den! I'm excited for the upcoming year and looking forward to getting the kids back together!

POPCORN - There is an incentive this year to help drive volunteer sign-ups to help the Council distribute, sort, or return popcorn at the Council office. If the pack provides a certain number of volunteer hours, the pack can earn a free overnight "camp out" at the Council's new Urban Adventure Center. BAND APP - This year, in addition to the website, I want to explore using an app to facilitate better communication. Group text messages are ok - but chat history is lost as members join or leave the den, and ongoing management of a group chat can be problematic.
