All parents are invited to create an account. The Pack reports to and updates thIs site before each pack meeting. Scout Uniform
Scout Uniform
Uniforms and Handbooks can be purchased at the Miami Scout Shop.
Troop 599 specific uniform items such as unit number, neckerchiefs, class-B shirts and troop swag can be purchased from our partners at R&L Printing.
The proper placement of uniform patches and insignia is important!
Youth Uniforms - The uniform is one of the methods of delivering the Scouting program. In addition to creating a sense of belonging, the uniform gives a Scout the ability to display their personal achievements.
Training
Adult Training - The better trained all adults and leaders are, the better the scouting experience is for all, especially the Cubs! Some training is required for all adults interacting with the scouts regardless whether they are a leader or not, others are required for leaders, and many are optional but encourage for all.
All adult leaders are first required to take Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT). When that is completed, training for other positions in Cub Scouting is available on-line.

Position Specific Training - Required by your position e.g. Cubmaster, Committee Chair, etc.
Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) - Required for overnight camping
Safe Swim Defense - Required to participate in Swimming Activities
Safety Afloat - Required to participate in paddle sports(canoeing, kayaking, etc)
Hazardous Weather Training - Required for all outoor activities
All training can be accessed through your My.Scouting.org account.
Recognition
Recognition of Leaders, Youth and Adults that support scouting and the scouting ideals by their actions, by training and by their positive actions are an important part of scouting. We must always take every opportunity to recognize those that make scouting possible.

Annual Health & Medical Form Requirements - All Cubbies must have a current (less than a year) medical form on file with the pack.

Advancement Trail - Cub Scout activities are centered around earning badges that are specific to each school grade level. This badge represents a rank.
