The Pack Committee provides critical support to the Cubmaster and Den Leaders. It manages the pack finances, helps with locating needed resources, and ensures all the activities of the pack fall within the BSA regulations for safety and age appropriate activities.

The Pack Committee Chair is responsible for running the pack committee and ensuring all the pack activities meet BSA and applicable regulations, maintaining the relationship with other units, and organizing other assistance as needed.
The advancements the scouts have earned, belt loops for adventures and patches for almost everything else, are awarded at the pack meetings. The Advancements Chair is responsible for getting the list of awards and getting all the awards sorted for each scout before the pack meeting.
The Pack Trainer keeps leaders informed of training opportunities and tracks who has completed the various programs.
The Treasurer maintains the accounts and budget for the pack. They will need to keep the checkbook for the pack account and reimburse leaders for expenses as needed.
The Secretary attends the committee meetings and takes minutes for publication.
The Membership chair maintains the rolls of the pack for both leaders and scouts.
The Social Media Chair manages the Facebook page, posting pictures and keeping the calendar in sync with Scoutbook. They will also be involved as the first contact for new scout families who find us through the social media account.
The Cubmaster’s primary responsibility is to plan and run a high-quality scouting program. They work with the committee to plan the program for each year beforehand, and run all the pack events during the year (or delegate to someone else if they will be unavailable). They also serve as the liaison between the den leaders and the pack committee when needed. With the committee chair they recruit new den leaders as needed and lead the cub scout recruitment.
When the pack is on a trip the Grub Master manages the menu and kitchen.
The Pit Crew Chief helps the dens with preparations for the Cubmobile and Pinewood Derby, as well as running the Pack's Pinewood Derby.
The Pack's largest fundraiser each year is the annual popcorn drive with Trail's End. The Popcorn Kernel takes on the important job of organizing this.
The Den Leaders are the key to our pack’s success. The committee’s overall responsibility is to support them. They provide feedback, both as leaders as well as by relaying anything the parents in their den have discussed with them.
