It's Pinewood Derby season! Our annual Pinewood Derby will be held Wednesday, 28 February at 6pm in the Fairhill Elementary cafeteria. Be sure to pick up your block and start working on your car today!
RAKERS WANTED!! Our Fall fundraising event will take place on the 11th & 12th November.
25 OCT - Scouting for Food (SFF) is here! Come to the Fairhill cafeteria at 7pm on Wednesday, 25 October to pick up your stickers. Place stickers on the doors of your assigned neighborhood on 28 Oct. See the George Mason District site for more info.

This is the homepage of Cub Scout Pack 656 chartered by the American Legion Post 177 and are part of the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Pack 656 welcomes boys and girls from grades K-5. We meet at Fairhill Elementary School, but it is not a requirement that our scouts attend that school. We serve Scouts from Fairhill, Mosaic Elementary School, Pine Spring Elementary School, and Bailey's Upper Elementary School, Our Pack meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month in the Fairhill Elementary cafeteria at 6:30pm.

Outdoor activities: Spring and Fall camping trips, Pack hikes, Summer Camp
Service/Community events: Scouting for Food, Wreaths Across America, local park cleanups, Fairhill PTA Garden Days
Special Pack events: Pinewood Derby, Blue & Gold Banquet
Pack activities: Independence Day Parade, Fairhill Fall Festival, STEM Activities, visit to Merrifield Fire Station
