About Us

Chartered by Pilgrim Presbyterian Church since 1956.  We are a busy Pack!  We have a full calendar, but no one is expected to do everything!  Because we have so many families, we like to be sure that we offer something of interest to everyone!

Our Scout families live throughout the Phillipsburg, NJ area, including Lopatcong, Greenwich/Stewartsville, Bloomsbury, Alpha, Pohatcong, and Phillipsburg.

We are also excited to be a Family Pack as a co-ed program that includes all scouts working together (all boys and girls) in grades Kindergarten through 5th Grade are welcome.  Our Dens are (grade-specific groups) and meet weekly, 2-3 times a month.  Once a month usually on the 3rd or 4th Saturday of the month we all come together for Pack-wide events and activities.  Pack 54 and Cub Scouting has always been a family affair.  We are glad to welcome all members of the family to participate in all of our fun adventures and activities.

Scouts is Filled with Super Fun Learning Activities and Adventures all year long!

The Cub Scouting program helps build character, learn citizenship, and develop personal fitness through activities like Fishing, STEAM, Community Service, Hikes, Camping, Bears Carnival, Pinewood Car Racing and Rocket Derbies, and so much More!

Most den and pack meetings meet at our chartered organization: Pilgrim Presbyterian Church, 750 Belvidere, Road, Phillipsburg, NJ or we will meet at one of the Local Parks.

Den meetings are held 2 to 3 times a month along with a monthly Pack Meeting that includes the entire pack once a month. Pack meetings usually include fun group activity events (Derby’s, Carnival, Banquets, Fishing Trips, etc,) and that is where we recognize the accomplishments of the cub scouts with monthly awards, chips, and badges. Scouts weekly meetings run from September- June during the school year. With opportunities to meet at least once a month in the summer as a Pack, providing summer activities such as Summer camp, Fishing days, Scouts night at Iron Pigs Baseball Games and more!
