On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
Pack 529 in Cerritos, California, was founded in January of 1976.
We pride ourselves in providing an atmosphere where young boys and girls can have fun, while
they gain valuable skills, learn positive values, and serve their community.
Welcome to the Pack! So now that you've joined, you may be wondering...
Now what?
Getting the most out of Cub Scouts is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
Pack 529 is accepting new Scouts all year around.

Feel free to contact us anytime so that we could provide you with recruitment information for your
son or daughter.
Each den has from one to 10 scouts of the same age group,
an adult leader (and assistant leader).
All the scouts work together to achieve their requirements for advancement,
go on outings, and serve the community.
New scouts will be placed with scouts of the same age (or grade level).
Scouts advance with each grade as follows:
Lion Cubs = Kindergarten
Tiger Cubs = First Grade
Wolf Cubs = Second Grade
Bear Cubs = Third Grade
Webelos = Fourth Grade
Arrow of Light = Fifth Grade
Older scouts join Scout BSA Troops.
With each achievement level, there is a proper uniform and age appropriate guide book. Both are necessary, and available from a
scout supply distributor.
Before a new scout can start earning their achievements and electives, they must earn their Bobcat rank. Tiger scouts first must earn their Tiger rank before they earn their Bobcat rank.
Activities details are announced in our events page, and long term activity
notices appear on our calendar.
