HOW DO I SHARE PHOTOS AND VIDEO WITH THE PACK?

The Pack uses the church's main Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall and classrooms.

Our monthly Pack Meetings are typically on the 3rd Thursday of the Month at 6:15pm. See the Pack Calendar for upcoming Pack meetings and optional events.

Our weekly Den Meetings depend on the Den. Please reach out to your Den Leaders for information on meeting times.

WHICH DEN AM I IN?

The Cub Scouting program is for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grades. Dens are assigned by grade level:

Kindergarten are Lions

1st Graders are Tigers

2nd Graders are Wolves

3rd Graders are Bears

4th Graders are Webelos

5th Graders are Arrow of Light (AOL)

Cub Scouts crossover to Scouts in the middle of 5th grade.  They move on from Pack 315 and go to a Troop of their choice. Crossroads of America Council has a large number of Troops to select from. Scouts should visit these Troops in 4th and 5th grade so they can determine where they'd like to crossover to.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DEN, A PACK, AND A TROOP?

A Den is your grade specific group (for example if you're a first grader you are in the Tiger Den). A Den typically ranges from 2-8 kids.

A Pack is all of the kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. Pack 315 is a Family Pack that allows all family members to join in Pack activities. We recognize younger scout siblings as our Dragon Scouts.

A Troop is a group of older Scouts (mid 5th grade through high school). When our Cub Scouts crossover during their fifth grade year, they join a Troop.

WHAT COUNCIL ARE WE IN?

We are in the Crossroads of America Council. The Council is a group of Scouting America employees responsible for the Packs, Troops, and Crews in the area.  Crossroads of America Council is responsible for about 17,000 Scouts in Central Indiana across 26 counties.

WHAT DISTRICT ARE WE IN?

Scouts in a Council are further divided into Districts.  Our Pack is in the Monon District.

ARE WE CHARTERED THROUGH THE CHURCH?

Yes. Pack 315 graciously uses these facilities to host our Pack and Den Meetings.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Cub Scouts is for boys and girls in K-5th grade. Members do NOT need to be from a specific school, church, organization, or city. Since our Cub Scouts often play other sports such as soccer and baseball, please check with the Den Leader to see when the Den runs their meetings.

Pack 315 typically has large numbers of kids from Stony Creek, Promise Road, White River, and North Elementary Schools, along with other nearby schools and homeschool groups. Scouts have joined our group from many areas of Noblesville.

If you can't join our group, contact us anyway and we can put you in touch with other Cub Scout Packs in the area!

HOW MUCH ARE FEES?

Annual Fees are significantly more affordable than many youth activities because this is a year round program and not seasonal. Scouts also actively fundraise by selling popcorn to pay their own way to earn their program. Many of our families that do sell popcorn earn many other incentives aside from their dues being paid. Many also earn their summer camp at no additional cost.

Finances should NEVER keep youth from enjoying Scouts. Discreet payment plans, scholarships, and other options are available.

2025-2026 Fees

Please see the Pack Dues Sheet for breakdown and fees that vary based on rank.

Covers Pack 315 T-shirt (for new Scouts), adventure loops, awards and patches for the year, materials for Den & Pack meetings, Pinewood Derby Car, Cub Scout Neckerchief and Slide (awarded at our Spring Camp Out), Special Events (Blue & Gold, Campouts, etc.), Leader Training & Registration Fees.

WHEN ARE FEES DUE?

Fees are due in Sept/October each year after the end of popcorn sales.

HOW CAN I PAY YOU?

WHAT OTHER COSTS ARE THERE?

Indianapolis, IN 46256

Class B shirts are available to all scouts every year.  Additional Youth Shirts and Adult Shirts are available at cost.

HOW OFTEN DOES PACK 315 GO CAMPING?

Pack 315 typically goes camping 1-2 times per year.  Fall camp out in Mid-September and Spring Camp out in May are two popular camping events for the entire family.

Webelos and AOL Dens may do additional camping/hiking activities throughout the year.

MY CHILD IS ABOUT TO FINISH WITH CUB SCOUTS, NOW WHAT?

AOL Cub Scouts are encouraged to meet with Scout BSA Troops during the year so that they can pick a Troop that they would like to advance on to. See your Den Leader for more information.

In addition to traditional Scouting, Crossroads of America also offers:

Venturing: Venturing Crews are for youth 14-21 who enjoy high adventure activities and leadership training.

Exploring: Allows youth 14-21 to learn more about careers that interest you while getting hands-on experience and networking with professionals. From engineering and health care to science and law enforcement, you have the opportunity to learn from central Indiana’s top professionals in their field.
