OPTION ONE
Ho'omaluhia Botanical Gardens

The Ho`omaluhia Botanical Garden Fishing Program is a free “catch and release” recreational fishing program. The fishing activity is held along the shoreline of the 32-acre Loko Waimaluhia. The shoreline is approximately a 20-minute walk from the Education Center along a scenic garden pathway.
All participants (adults for minors) must acknowledge and sign a Participant Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability Agreement, read and understand the Fishing Guidelines and obey all posted signage set forth by the City and County of Honolulu.
Cost
Free for all participants. Please note that a ticket does not guarantee a parking space. Because parking is limited, carpooling is highly encouraged.

OPTION TWO
Ali'i Agriculture Farms
Fishing Farms Hawaii managed by Ali'i Agriculture Farms, located in Central O’ahu provides an opportunity to make life time memories. They offer recreational fishing services that is fun for all ages! They have three ponds stocked with healthy tilapia and catfish that they rotate so that each pond does not become over fished. They have a food truck that provides a cooking and cleaning service for the fish you catch for an extra fee, or you can buy the fish you've caught and take it home!
Cost
$25 for one fisher, one fishing pole and one bag of bait included
$8 entry fee for non-fishing bystanders
Payment is required at the front gate where you will pick up your fishing pole and bait at the fishing shack. Note: the fishing pole may be shared among group. The farm accepts cash and credit cards (3% convenience fee).
All participants must complete a liability form. Adults are required to complete the form for minors.

Please bring:
Water, sun protection, gloves to remove fish from hooks and chairs (if desired).
No personal fishing poles or bait allowed - fishing poles and bait are provided.
