Currently recruiting boys and girls K-5
Children of Kindergarten age may join the Pack as part of the Lion program. To earn the rank as Lion, boys and girls must complete all the required adventures. There are a number of electives that may also be completed either as part of regular den meetings or at home.
The Lion program forms a strong foundation for a lifetime of fun and meaningful family adventures. Both the Lion and their Adult Partner participate in all aspects of the program.
There are 12 Lion adventures available. Five adventures are required to earn the Lion badge. These, help explore important Scouting ideas. The remaining seven adventures are elective adventures. Each is designed to help your child have fun and learn useful things.
To earn the Lion badge,
Complete each of the Five required adventures.
• Lion’s Honor
• Animal Kingdom
• Fun on the Run
• King of the Jungle
• Mountain Lion
As the Scout completes each adventure, he or she will receive a sticker to place in their handbook and an adventure loop for that adventure, that they can wear on their Cub Scout belt.
Note to Parents
The Lion Program is a partner program with both the Lion Cub and their Adult Partner participating in den activities.
The Lion Program is a shared leadership approach where Den Adults take turns in leading a Den Adventure throughout the year.
As the Lion Cub completes each adventure, he or she will receive an adventure loop for that adventure, that they can wear on their Cub Scout belt.
Bring the Lion Handbook to Den meetings to have your cub’s achievements recorded by the Den Leader.
