For older Scouts who are ready for the full camp experience, Resident Camp at Camp Acahela is the highlight of the Scouting year. Scouts can come for 3 days (Adventure Camp) or the full week (Resident Camp). Scouts may also register for Adventure Camp and make the decision to extend to the full week while they are at camp by simply paying the difference at that time.
Current Lion, Tiger and Wolf Scouts are required to have an adult accompany them at camp. Current Bear and Webelos Scouts do not need to have an adult accompany them, if they are mature enough to be without a parent for the week.
Cost for camp is as follows:
3-Day Adventure Camp
Scout: $290
Adult: $105
6-Day Resident Camp
Scout: $480
Adult: $165
Camperships are available to cover part of the cost of Resident Camp. Applications are due April 15. Please contact a pack leader directly to inquire about the campership application. More information is available at the NEPA Council website here --> Campership Information
The BSA Annual Health & Medical Record form is required for both camps. For Parent & Pal Parts A & B must be completed for all attendees (including adults). For both Adventure Camp and Resident Camp Part C must also be completed by your doctor for all attendees. Plan accordingly!
