Race Day Schedule

8:00am - 9:20am: Race Day Registration Opens
If you register your car Friday night, show up at 9:20!

• Cars will be checked for weight, length, width, clearance, BSA wheels and axles and adherence to Council rules. Don’t wait until the last moment, if there is a problem you can fix it at our "pit stop" table and then re-check in before 9:20am.

• Stickers will be applied to cars once they pass inspection.

• Cars will be impounded in a holding area until race time.

9:20am: Final Registration Closed

• Flag Ceremony

• Rules presentation

• Start of voting for Design Awards

10:00am: Rank Racing Begins

• From this point forward cars are handled only by the Pit Crew running the race.

• All results will be displayed to the crowd. Cheering is encouraged; however, good sportsmanship is mandatory!

• Lane assignments are rotated, and each car will race in all four lanes against the same opponents.

• The Scouts in each Rank will compete against one another for the fastest average time in 4 heats.

• Top 3 finishers per Rank will go on to the Finals.

11:15am: Present Design Awards and Rank Speed Awards

11:25am: Pack Racing Begins (allow 20 minutes)

• Top 3 finishers per Rank will compete against one another for the fastest average time in 4 heats.

11:45am: Early registration raffle winner

• Pack Race Trophy Presentations

• Thank volunteers

11:55am: Closing Flag Ceremony
