Our issue is that stray animals are everywhere in Central Texas. Some of the reasons stray animals can be stranded are natural disasters or they are just not being treated well and are being abandoned. As a result, animals are left on the side of the road or in neighborhoods with no one to take care of them. In addition to this, there are over 170 dogs in Waco shelters. Our group felt that stray animals has become a larger issue, and wanted to do something about it.
