About Pacificonia

Pacificonia is a self declared nation, commonly known as a micronation to most observers, Based in the Pacific Northwest region. Being an unrecognized nation, with negligible territory, is a roadblock in many ways, but the people of the nation still believe in the national spirit and ideals. The country's goal is to be a progressive and democratic society based off of a strong community.

The history of the nation of Pacificonia begins in 2016 with the establishment of Hopeland. Hopeland was founded after the founder, Tyson Johnston, was searching on the internet on how to make a country. He found some informative videos and decided to follow the steps to create Hopeland. A while after Hopeland was dissolved. Johnston, still wanting to take part in micronationalism, decided to create the country of Pacificonia in July 2017.
