Karan Kashyap started his career as an assistant director in 1998 with a television show in the age of 22 , following which he began working as a script and dialogue supervisor. While working as the script and dialogue supervisor, Karan was associated with movies like Krazzy 4, ZIndagi JAlebi, KAthor, Duniya Khatam Ho Rahi Hai and Soutan. Apart from being a supervisor, he was also associated with movies as an associate director. Making his debut as a writer and director, Karan worked on the 2011 Six Hours With Terrorists, a 2 hours and 17 minutes uncut one shot film, It was a world record at that time, then he wrote and Directed a comedy Zindagi Jalebi in 2013, following which he directed the 2017 comedy drama Duniya Khatam Ho Rahi Hai, which he wrote the screenplay for and also produced. In 2018, he directed Hindi drama Kathor, starring Lalit Parimoo and Sheetal Dimri in lead roles. His 2019 release includes Bagpat Ka Dulha. in 2022 after covid he Directed a web series "Behind The Truth" which is about to release.
